But the World Goes 'Round

From They Had It Coming, the spectacular 2005 tribute to John Kander and Fred Ebb by Gay Men's Chorus of Los Angeles, conceived by the creative team of GMCLA and arranged by Kevin Robison with orchestrations by Jim Grady. But the World Goes Round (the encore from that production) is scored for TTBB chorus with a belting mezzo soloist. "Sometimes you're happy and sometimes you're sad, sometimes you lose every nickel you had, but the world goes 'round" is a call to stay positive in the face of adversaries and is a must-have showstopper for any Broadway concert.
